Thank you all for those who view my art, it brings me great joy to read comments and wonder if others wish to see more. I'm sorry if some of my work does deters or causes cringe, Its not the best work I have done but it's work i'm proud of and willing to share

How does all of that fit inside that helmet?

omg that is super cute.

Thankyou, i'm glad you like it, I plan to do more and perhaps later I plan on taking free commissions for a story web comic project.

as long as you don't/refuse to explain a criticism it is invalid.

What is needed to be explained? These faces are simply disgusting. That's all.

There is nothing to be explained - these faces are simply disgusting (for me - if one needs that clause). That's all.

That is not a very good way of thinking, I'm not saying you can't find these drawings disgusting or ugly, but you should be able to say Why you find their faces displeasing.

I can think of valid reasons right now: The eyes are very large (you could prefer realistic proportions).
The irises are small stretched ovals, which gives them a cat like appearance.
(on the side view one) the way the face was drawn give the impression that the character has a lupine muzzle.

If you don't try to elaborate on your opinions people might mistake them for just being the opinions of a "jerk" or that it is baseless, which I don't think yours are, you just have not explained what you find repulsive on the characters faces.

I am one of the people who doesn't like certain anime styles, but I do like this, I'm not sure why it is that I can't watch some anime. There have been some I have enjoyed, though. I enjoy all forms of art, for the most part, and even if I don't find something pleasing, there can still be reasons to admire/observe it. You'd certainly think you could explain what you find displeasing after making a statement like that. If you have nothing nice to say, why say anything at all.. unless it's constructive criticism/civil discourse. I mean you obviously can say what you want, but doesn't mean you should.

I would just like to add that upon upon further viewing on the "day 2" image (the very first) it looks like the skeleton and the zombie (the ones in the middle) are greeting each other.

it's probably the giant soul-less eyes that often have no pupil ;) (or at least is usually drawn the same color as the iris giving the same look as no pupil)

seems to be a fairly typical anime trope of how it's drawn.

good art by the way OP.

Funny because as far as I know iris-less eyes are in no way an anime thing.

In fact I  draw eyes without irises because the things that got me into art, the Asterix & Obelix and Tintin comics,  had characters faces drawn like that. For reference, those two comics are French and Belgian.

was half being silly and half poking fun at a well known trope.

i suppose technically it's not no iris, but same color for both, at least for the most part anyway.

i mean, almost all anime have cold dead eyes, it's just the way they're drawn.

Look at these cold, dead eyes... those dark eyes... the devil's eyes, from the moment I saw them, I knew that what lived behind those eyes is purely and simply... evil.

What program/brush do you use that it gives you those slightly pixelated lines?

It seems way to smooth to be the standard pixel pencil tool. A vector drawing program maybe?

I use "Paint Tool Sai" there is a pixel brush that I use but, unfortunately the version i have is well, a "non-legit copy" so whoever I downloaded it from it came with custom plugins and new brushes that i'm not sure if it comes with the default paid copy.

I as well was surprised how smooth a pixel brush can be.

Oh and I draw on relatively small canvas sizes, sometimes I do "800x800" or "500x500" other than that, my max i usually do is 3000x3000 then resize it to fit the forums. That may possibly why it may kinda be a bit pixleated.

I will never quite understand why people play CDDA as little girls.  Explicitly teenage to young twenties girls.  A lot of elementary or jr high kids too, to be fair.

but the drawings are good.  I had enjoyment.

don't know either although when I make a character that is supposed to be based on me I would also assume them to be the same age as me. I do not know how well that applies to how others see their characters but then again there is no such thing as a normal person.

My guess is that video games and young adult fiction are to blame, rare to get characters over 25 in those two mediums.

On my defense I was 18 when I first drew Ann. And she was supposed to be around my age then.
