Also, it's just really interesting from a gameplay perspective. A twist! Now you can't drive because of tentacle arms. Woops, gotta adapt to it then!

Hah! it certainly is not!
Chesthole's really complete and really awesome, and the Xotto one is quite neat as well! Also they use the new tileset features fully!
Because i'm an idiot i'd probably play the game with just ascii because it'd be weird not to use my tileset (i have this thing were, if a game's art is moddable, I NEED TO MOD IT, see: https://imgur.com/a/YdxD0) otherwise it wouldn't feel good. and mine is quite unfinished, but welp, hehe. I still recommend them! Also Chezzo is quite an awesome pal, so i'm happy to see how well his tileset was received, hehe

Woops, sorry for not being here to help ya sooner! Thanks Snapdragon for helping him for me.

It has been quite a while since that, yeah, and some things changed around in the way the game loads tiles. Might need to update the link sometime, though quite some time has passed since i last updated it, and i kind of already accepted i'll never truly finish it, hehe.

Anyone can take up the torch if you wanna!
I guess one day i'll try to continue, but who knows! The new features for tilesets seem quite fancy, so yep, quite tempting. Let's wait for what future me has to say! I hear he is quite an awesome guy.

also imagining quite a lot of people would run there, there should be quite a lot of tents and things and beds in the middle of the street, and maybe more beds in houses as well?

Thinking the same here! I actually imagine it like a hellish monster with many arms that moves its arms and juggles the items incredibly fast rather than a zombie per se.

It affects everything.

See PR 19398. Seems making the rule selectively enforced is not easy

Man, what a shame. I guess i won't be playing until they fix that, kind of a game breaker for me!

Last time I played I remember a "speed" setting for monsters. It replaced the old "slow zombies" mod. I quite like the functionality, really! But it affects all creatures, right? Isn't there a way to make it affect just zombies?

I haven't played in a long time but I'm planning to go back, so I decided to clear this doubt. I really wish there was a way to make it just affect zombies, but I won't complain if it can't!

Idk pal, try to tweak around world settings? I for one got asskicked so much by fast zombies that I only play with slow ones now. Sadly I think now the new speed thing makes ALL monsters slow, which isn't really what I like, but oh well.

It's the most moddeable thing in the world! Just tweak it, it's not like you are cheating. And if you were, it's just a singleplayer game. Tweak it all!
