A few questions.

Whenever i walk I create a sound of 3. Is this normal? I feel like it isn't although that may just be me not paying attention. I don't have any mutations or traits of the sort that make me more noisy.

Are log walls better or are wood walls better?

Is it considered bad forum etiquette to create multiple posts just asking questions? Is it just better to edit your own post to ask another?
Well if you only edit your posts what happens when the topic gets ten more pages? Your post is edited but if people don't read through every page nobody will notice your edits.
For log and wood walls I would assume log is better but I don't know for certain.
As for your footsteps, unless you have the leg tentacle mutation or an artifact that silences your footsteps they will always make noise. Less like 3 with the light step trait and 10 or so with clumsy.

It seems to me that throwing sticks are vastly better than wooden javelins, but I can't see any reason for that in their stats - any insights into which numbers make the difference?
according to the wiki (http://cddawiki.chezzo.com/cdda_wiki/index.php?title=Throwing) "Damage of the thrown item increases with its melee damage, weight and your strength, but decreases with item's volume."
So basically the heavir and the lower the volume, the better. Personally i have found that javelins are only good with the atlatl; but nothing defeats throwing axes or their lower counterpart throwing knives.
Unfortunately like the old gunshot noise formula things on the wiki are not entirely up to date.

addiction to mutagen is a medical mutation tree only thing.
Not from my experience but then again it might only be your mod.

Does anyone know the math behind how much noise is made by a gunshot in this game now?

(Yes this is a double post but this something a kinda want answered so I can make an as val for myself.

I have a battery charger which is a vehicle part but it seems is not available in the parts list so I can't install it, how do I make it function?
You need to put it on a space that has item storage capacity. Like a cargo space or a trunk.

Flame resistant jumpsuit.

fireman jumpsuit.  I found 2 pk underlays, but they both are badly damaged.  And dont fit.
Ah that is actually what I thought at first but since I am using the 5.5.0 version of you mod I didn't know if you added a new item or not.

just shut the fuck up and bomb their entire country already, diplomacy is a waste of time in this situation and you don't give a toddler throwing a tantrum attention.
I wouldn't say the entire country but maybe just his house while he is in it, with a second one for good measure. But I agree he is a spoiled brat that needs to realize he is playing with fire while soaked in gasoline.

 tank drones, everything) to wipe out droves of zombies with little resistance.
The issue for the cataclysm wasn't so much the zombies alone but the widespread portals that allowed essentially every horrible thing from the sub prime to enter our world and essentially wreck everything that moved.
As far as I know no on the multiple tile monster entities. Also I should have mentioned that most of the portals that were in the New England area did close and as such most of the more sub prime dependent monsters disappeared.

What I got from this is that there is a distinct lack of portals spawning demonic horrors.  Also, has anything been done regarding multi-tile monsters? I want to fight a tyranid carnifex.

they spawn independent of labs.  they are made of fortified concrete and spawn doom mons at close range around them.

their conditions are slightly different as well.

but i recently added mapping ability to them.  im not sure if i can do the cvd stuff too, or if I should ...
Is that what the walls are? I thought it was probably normal concrete walls.
