I was thinking about adding preferences to characters. It would be a selection like traits. You could select for instance if your character prefers vegetables, meat oriented foods or he/she is a sweetmouthed persons. When eating a proper food, it would give you moral bonuses, but if you eat something you dont like it would give a penalty.

I have two things to suggest. First... lets change back the resolution of the map. I think now, the symbols are too small. Or atleast give the ability to choose.

Second... it would be nice to add a journal, where we can log all our heroic raids on the fly.

As far as i know the game starts a couple of days later when the cataclysm struck. Is it possible at game creation, to have a couple of questions to determine your starting gear?

When hell broke out, every pillar of society collapsed. The whole world turned into a nightmare, as people were killed in front of you. You decided...
A,... every man for himself. (You start the game alone)
B,... to try and reach your beloved ones (you start the game with on NPC)

As days were passing the situation got more insane, as the military reported, they will not try to evacuate the population. You decide...
A,... its wise to stack up some food and water (you start the game, with extra food)
B,...to fight out your way from this chaos(you get a firearm)

Something like that

I was thinking about the bulding description. When you examine a building, it would give you a small description like "this used to be a pizza parlor. In the window it still advertises 2 for 1 sale. As you look through the window, the place is destroyed" :)

Aaaah.... i see. So the more objects i have between my character and the enemy, the more likely they misd. This includes also dropped stuff from dead enemy? Or the code can distinguish?

For instance it could look like a potato. Or "the building is in bad shape, various grafities are painted on the wall from before the cataclysm."  Something like that... but i got the hint.. bad idea

So if i understand, the cover system works, that even if im standing in the middle of the street, the shot can miss me or damage less, the further they are shooting at me?

Another suggestion: more flavour text when you are exploring the world... if you examine for instance a building, it would describe how it looks etc

Yeah... i just recently started to use firearms in the game, but its really painful, that i always have to move out from cover. I always feel like those sneaky german soldiers who gets gunned down from hip by an american hero in an old ww2 movie :D

It would be nice to have a cover system for firefights. For instance when i peak out from the corner, i would be able to fire my gun. The enemy would have half the chance to hit me

I waa wondering if someone is considering to improve the subway system of the game? Im reading now Metro2033 and the setting has potential.

Also im looking for someobe who could teach me how to mod the game. I wanna make simple additions, plan buildings etc.

Another thing is, that im marketing the game for other people to play, but most of them dont speak english. So i want to do a hungarian translation of the game, including the mods i use. Someone could poibt me to the right direction?

Driving is easy... there is a yellow "crosshair" when you drive a car. That indicates the direction your heading. When you drive a car, you will see on the HUD the speed two times. One is the current speed of the vehicle, and one is for the speed you want to achive. The more faster you go, the more bigger the turn radius is.

That sounds cool. I guesdsi have not been lucky to find gunmods. But now i plan to head out for another city :)

Is it plausible to have modular guns? Different parts would give different stats. Stock, mechanism, barrel kust to name a few parts, that the system could use. The construction could be similiar to the vehicle construction system....

I hope this wasnt suggested before, but i have an idea involving NPCs. In most of my game i try to settle down and recreat somekind of civilization. This involves farming, gathering everyday stuff, hunting etc. I usually make multiple characters, who works together for the same goal.

My idea would be Camp Management. It simply means you can tell NPCs, to go to the forest and gather some fire wood, to cook meals, craft something, gather loot, form caravan to trade etc. The commanded NPC would vanish from the base for awhile, and return with the stuff. I dont know how easily would be to implement it, but random injuries could also happen or they just simply didnt found anything...

Now thinking through we could set what the NPC should scavenge, with the pick up orders, but would be nice to use other then fighting skills of the other survivors.
