Translations Team Discussion / Re: Italian Translation

One issue I found is the string (#12695) representing the driving directions, I just copy-pasted it, but it looks weird in-game:

It's OK on the argentinian translation. I've just copied it like it's on the original string.

It's OK. Now I'm doing it like that.

Thank you.

I saw that now I can leave a blank space to end the translated string on Transifex. That's what you changed recently?
So now, if I need a space after the colon, I just leave the blank space. That may work.

I've seen that other translation doesn't have this spaces problem... Why?
They didn't use Transifex, maybe?
Or am I doing something wrong?

OK, thank you.

I was wondering if there's a way to force an empty space after the colon. Something like the linebreak term.

I'm working on the spanish (argentinian) translation, and I've found a problem in the game.
There are spaces after the colon " : " that doesn't appear on spanish translation. The space is not on the original string. I don't know where they came from.
For example, the second line on an object description. Here's an image:

Ayer empecé una traducción al español de Argentina, así que si alguien quiere participar tiene que hacerse una cuenta en Transifex y empezar cuando quiera. Cualquier cosa me mandan un mensaje por acá.

Thank you, LazyCat!
Should I begin with "master-cataclysm-dda"? And then which one? 0.9 or 0.A?

I would like to begin a spanish-Argentina translation, but I can't find out how to create a new translation on the Launchpad site...

You can check encumbrance levels on various body parts with the '@' menu, or use the advanced clothing menu with '+'. From my experience those two have been more than adequate for clothing management.

Oh, thanks! I've forgotten about the '+' clothing menu.

I would like to see clothes/armor that I'm wearing sorted by bodypart in the inventory screen.
As it is, it's hard to realize what are you wearing where.
