My only complain with guns is that the best way to use them is to wait until the target monster is adjacent to you and then fire. So they end up being like melee guns with limited uses.

They could use some general accuracy buffs imo.

Yeah agree. Even with high levels, basic firearms are not very viable long range. I think they should have bigger range.

From my experience log walls are pretty sturdy, just be careful with the placement because they are also very difficult to bring down if you don't have a big fat hammer (can't remember the name of the huge one).

Learned that hitting a gas pump with a baseball bat is a really bad idea :/

I'm trying to imagine when it can actually be a good idea...

I've never contributed to an open source project, so I was wondering what is and what can be my place in such a project?

For example, I do fencing, I love historical fencing bla bla, so, can I write a master fencer and a apprendist fencer profession and put it on git?

And if I can, how does it work? I have to fork, add the code, and do a pull request? Is that the standard procedure?

Or, for example, there are no horses in the game. Can I understand how to code animals in, fork, add horses and then pull request? Is that how you do it?

BTW: I know a bit of c++, I haven't seen the code, but it is that one, no? So I could do maybe some little, tiny addition, more related on content than optimization or big mechanics. Can I do it? I have to ask someone? Can you clarify this big fog in my mind? :)

Oh, that is so sad. I've never really got into his works too much, but I've read a couple of books, they were surely well written and very fun! Rest in peace.

Make so that when you use the 'e' button to get stuff from the ground, you are able to select which item to carry using the NUMPAD and not only the arrows (or is it just me, and I didn't configure the game properly?)

In the re-layer armor menu, have also listed for each body part the protection bonus.

(I made a thread for this, which was stupid, so I removed it and posted it here)
