My original wood door broke down and I'm trying to replace it with a metal one, but it wouldn't let me build. I checked that i have all the resources and skills, but I can't build there.

Is the space clear of all objects?

Yea, I just figured that out, but thanks anyway.

I'm waiting out a rain/thunderstorm in m tent but I'm still getting wet or at least not drying. (Still got the wet -10 morale malus)
Bug or intended?

You don't need towels to dry. Waiting inside usually does the trick. My question was about tents.

Is the malus increasing? If it is, then you're still getting wet. The other way to test what's happening, as has been suggested, is to activate a towel to dry yourself of (removing the malus) and then seeing if it comes back.

There's a chance you might be in a damaged tent.

Always gotta bring a towel with you, until your gear is all waterproof at least.. I usually still carry one after that, but have been leaving it in the truck just because I don't seem to ever need it with the gear I'm wearing. It's good for if you get slime or whatever on you too.

I bring 2 with me early game, and keep 4 in my car.

Easy to craft, easy to drop and replace.

Carry a folded plastic bag and a few towels everywhere.

P:
The list of crap I always carry is actually kind of long.

- Skittles for days: aspirin, painkillers, first aid, bandages, eye drops, multivitamins, adrenaline, Dr Stem, cocaine
- 1 molotov and 1 smoke bomb, optional manhacks
- 2 weapons
- some pebbles and a sling
- folded plastic bag
- poncho or umbrella or towels
- rubber hose
- lighter
- thread or splintered wood

amoung other things

unfold it for instant storage when raiding.

use a rucksack or molle pack for more storage potential at the cost of higher encumbrance and less prewearing space
