This should be fixed in source code.
But, at this moment, i don't know where is error in transifex or gettext extractor.
Please mark this string as Issue.

Nevermind, already found the problem, it's Transifex.
http://docs.transifex.com/faq/#why-is-my-web-editor-complaining-about-the-percentage-sign
Solution #1 would be the best choice, but I don't have the option showing up on the dashboard, perhaps I haven't got enough privileges.
Solution #2 doesn't work and I don't have access to #3 either.

Here's a late thank you for fixing the bug.

Since 0.C release is coming closer I am about to finish translating the most basic stuff, such as the options menu, the character creation screen, various interfaces and many message logs.
So far I found two problems:

The first one is that Italian has disappeared from the language settings (there's a blank space instead - also notice the space after Deutschland):
(click to show/hide)

Second, when you create a new character you must choose a profession. You can toggle between male/female as some professions have a different name for different genders (such as groom/bride) and have their relative descriptions as well (or at least, that's what I think since they appear twice on Transifex). However, in the lastest experimental only the female description is shown, even when you choose a male.

Also, has nightly translations stopped being embedded in the lastest experimentals? I had to download the lastest translation and install it manually.

I was sick, sorry. Translations will be pulled to experimentals on 14.01.2015. Source will be updated 12.01.2015. Right now you can use http://heresy.soapfire.ru/cataclysm-dda/it_IT/ (update every 3 hour).

Right now i will try fix your bug.

I test with recent translation(Italian) and it's works fine. Can you test again?

I see, thanks for the info. Hope you are fine now.

As for the description issue, I have fixed it, but I noticed some descriptions that are left in english, even if I translated them (and I have the most updated one downloaded from soapfire.ru).
Here's an example:

Such cases mean that English string has been updated, but stings on Transifex update one time per week, and the changes are still not reflexed.

Russian has reported the same problem.  Adding this to the Git issue; thanks for reporting.

Help menu almost done, only FAQs are left. Next is the tutorial.

One issue I found is the string (#12695) representing the driving directions, I just copy-pasted it, but it looks weird in-game:
(click to show/hide)

Also, all the commands of the vehicle menu (repair, remove, siphon etc.) are not shown, for some reason. (Maybe the translated strings are too long?)

This is very problematic string... Spaces in this case should be calculated individually by language.
Try to adjust spaces between slashes... or look this strings in other translations: Russian, German.

Your guess is true. This menu is very sensitive to long strings and i guess nobody know how exactly is't works. Try to reduce strings length. String by string :/

It's OK on the argentinian translation. I've just copied it like it's on the original string.

Transifex still gave me a bad formatting of that string.
Anyway, i fixed it by downloading the .po master file off transifex, properly formatting the string with a text editor, and uploading it. It is now displayed correctly.

Out of curiosity, it is needed to translate only the master file, and not the 0.A and 0.B ones, right?

0.A - old stable no need to translate. Will be removed after next stable release.
0.B - current stable.  Becomes old-stable after next stable release. Choose translate or not.
master - latest. This should be translated first.
