Odds and Ends mod

When my mod is both complete and ready to download, i'll put a link to it here.

Have added something close to the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7.63%C3%9725mm_Mauser and the MP 18.

I plan to make two mods: an Era mod that recreates any period in the history of New England between 1800 and the standard era, and one miscellaneous mod that may grow into a fork.

[WIP] The following features are included in the Odds and Ends mod:

3 new 7.62x25mm cartridge. [One has been mainlined!]
The 7.63x25mm cartridge, which can be loaded into any 7.62x25mm gun.
2 C96 pistols, one modernized.
1 silenced rifle
3-4 flintlock cartridges.
5+ flintlocks, including a preposterous flintlock machine gun I added for fun.
A mountable Saker cannon.
A pre-cataclysm analog of the Survivor Wetsuit.
1 Combination IR/Night Vision/Sunglasses/Swim Goggles.
Several professions, including a government-trained survivalist with a silenced rifle, a bionic hooker, a modernized ninja, and a photojournalist.
A military theater map that reveals all pre-cataclysm terrain.

Most of the equipment isn't historically accurate yet, but running the mod doesn't produce errors. However, there are still a lot of things to add and balance, especially professions, before I upload the mod.

I was adding professions that don't exist in the main game, or many of the mods I've seen, and I thought the idea of a wealthy escort with physical and medical enhancements, gymnastic training, and high speech skill was good. I didn't and still do not intend any meanness by it. When I release my mod, please tell me if you think my implementation is offensive.

Where can I find info about musket ballistics? I have looked at Flayderman's but it doesn't talk about muzzle velocity, materials, weight, tactics etc..

I looked around for a while and I found a Paper from the Cranfield University, called "Ballistics of 17 Century Muskets" from one David Miller. I just took a glimpse, but it seems to speak about muzzle velocity, tactics, gunpowder, materials and so on. It's a PDF, here's the link, fresh from google:

It's a Thesis for a MSc, so I'd assume it's fairly accurate.

That is very ambitious, since you would have to recreate ALL maps, all recipes, all technology and all professions for every era. Can I suggest you to start with a single era, then proceed with the others? Maybe you could start with a "1850 Cataclysm" or a "2050 Cataclysm", finish it (it will take a long time), then proceed to the next era?

I've posted a link to a reconstruction of my test mod in the first post. Harddrive failure destroyed the original, and I've lost the will to restore it from memory.
